Our Services

Carter Brown Associates offers a range of services to legal professionals, the Court and those working within

Much of our work is providing expert witnesses and assessment reports for the Courts, but as our pool of experts and our reputation has grown, we are now able to provide a variety of services tailored to requests.

All Carter Brown Associates experts meet our rigorous standards including attending an induction which outlines the courts expectations of them as expert witnesses. All our experts must also provide us with proof of an up to date enhanced CRB check, Indemnity insurance and evidence of their HPC/GMC/GSCC registration.

Whilst all our experts are very experienced in their field, we consider ongoing training of our expert witnesses to be important and as a company we also provide regular court skills training to our experts.

Carter Brown Associates are committed to providing reports to the Courts that are of a high standard. In order to ensure this we have a Quality Assurance Team that proofreads each report for mistakes and content issues. Further to this, we also consistently seek feedback from a variety of sources including Solicitors, Judges and Local Authorities.

Carter Brown Associates' costs remain within the guidelines implemented by the Legal Service Commission on 3rd October 2011. Our Referrals Team continue to work hard to ensure that expert’s timescales remain within the 3 month limit prescribed by various regional practice directions. We recognise that delay can be prejudicial to children and actively seek to offer appropriate experts who are able to prepare reports in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost.
