Sarah is a Chartered Forensic Psychologist based in Edinburgh.
She has been working in the forensic psychology field for nearly fourteen years as an academic-clinician and currently provides independent forensic psychology consultancy to UK Police Services, the UK Parole Board, UK Fire Services and the
Scottish Prison Service.
Formerly acting as a Head of Psychology in the Prison Service, Much of her time was spent implementing and managing complex offender assessments and writing reports on prisoner risk of re-offending/cognitive ability. Sarah has assessed male/female young offenders (15-18 years), male/female adult offenders, and male/female adults in community mental health
and substance misuse services. She has a specialism of working with offenders that have committed arson and other fire-setting offences.
Sarah currently provides assessments of adults in all areas of her expertise, and also assesses young people with a history of fire-setting.

Catherine is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist. She has worked in prisons and forensic mental health settings, both in South Africa and in the United Kingdom.
She has been working in the United Kingdom since 2008, and this work has included both comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions with male and female clients. Catherine has provided psychological assessments for multidisciplinary Care Planning Meetings making decisions about whether women with severe mental illness such as Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder are able to care for their children.
Catherine has experience in assessing both adults and adolescents. She has assessed and provided therapeutic interventions for male perpetrators of child sexual abuse and domestic violence. Recently, Catherine has developed a special interest in working with women and adolescents and she has facilitated psychoeducational parenting skills groups for mothers. She has particular experience and interest in working with female offenders and assessing how childhood trauma, PTSD and/or domestic abuse may have impacted on attachment dynamics and on offending behaviour and parenting ability.

Alan has worked as a Forensic Psychologist for over 12 years, and has 30 years of experience of psychological challenges across a range of settings and with a wide variety of clients.
He has conducted assessments and interventions with males and females, adults and adolescents and undertaken work within prisons, the community and in hospital settings.
Alan leads a department of Psychologists providing services in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Developmental Disorder, Adult Developmental Disorder and Adult Mental Health. He continues to provide assessments including Personality Disorder, Psychopathy, Autism Spectrum Conditions, Mental Illness, Developmental Disorder and Cognitive Functioning.
Alan has an extensive CV which covers an even wider range of issues than those described above; he is based in Warwickshire and is willing to travel for assessments.

Alison is a chartered Clinical Psychologist with around twenty years' experience of working within the Local Authority, the NHS and more recently as an independent expert.
She has worked in a range of settings, offering family therapeutic work, assessments of children, young people, parents & carers along with consultations to Local Authority departments, Foster Care Agencies and schools. Much of her career has specialised in the assessment of children and families ranging from problems such as sleeping, eating and developmental issues in infants to behavioural, emotional and relationship issues in older children and young adults.

Alison has worked in the field of Educational Psychology for six years. Prior to working for the Local Authority, she worked as a teacher and as an advisory teacher for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
She has worked for the Local Authority and independently with children and families across the ability spectrum, tackling developmental issues such as Autism, ADHD and dyslexia.
Alison has experience of working with those at risk, such as Children in Care; supporting local Children & Young People's services teams in this area. She also has experience of working within CAMHS to address the mental health of children and young people.

Alyson is a chartered clinical psychologist and her work has involved the assessment and treatment of adults with a wide range of psychological disorders.
She has worked with individuals that present with complex personal situations, forensic histories and co-morbid psychological disorders, for example, depression, and anxiety disorders such as obsessive compulsive disorder and post traumatic stress disorder. She also has experience in specialist substance misuse and sexual health services within the NHS and within private clinical practice.
She has provided reports on a range of matters, including issues such as an individual’s progress in treatment for drug-using parents of “at risk” children and capacity assessments following alcohol related brain damage.

With extensive experience in working with young people and children with mental health issues, Andrew's clinical interests include developmental disorders of childhood, conduct disorders, gender identity issues in adolescence and the influence of mental health problems on parenting and attachment.
As a Group Analyst, Andrew is particularly interested in models of group supervision and group-based parent training programmes. His qualifications in Group Analytic Psychotherapy and Family Therapy has informed his clinical work with families, the consideration of suitability of parents for parent training groups and the assessment of parents in child care proceedings.

Her experience has included working with people who are at risk of sexual offending and are vulnerable to exploitation. More recently she has been working with adults with an acquired brain injury and challenging behaviours. In addition, She has worked with parents who have a learning disability and have emotional difficulties and histories of abuse.
Angela has worked in a broad range of settings and within a variety of multiagency teams, with assessments being undertaken in prisons, probation services, secure settings, community health and social care services, and long stay health services.

Ben is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in the assessment of children and families. he has over eight years of experience in providing his specialist psychological services within the NHS.
Prior to becoming a Clinical Psychologist, Ben worked as a Trauma Therapist / Associate Psychologist in Northern Ireland. He has particular expertise working with children with complex needs within the secure estate or criminal justice arena. Ben is experienced in assessing and working with individuals, couples and families across different specialities including child/adult mental health, learning disabilities and forensic services.
He is also familiar with proceedings relating to child protection concerns such as domestic violence, substance misuse and the failure to protect or understand risks to children.
